LAZZATI Philosophy: Continuity & Evolution

Our Mission

To deliver hydrostatic high-performance boring and milling machines that maintain accuracy, rigidity and reliability over decades — enabling our customers to focus on what they do best.
This mission guides every engineering decision: build machines that protect the investment, support production continuity and create measurable value across the entire lifecycle.

LAZZATI Philosophy

Continuity & Evolution: A Century of Family Engineering

Since 1939, LAZZATI has engineered hydrostatic boring and milling machines designed for long-term performance. Four generations of family leadership ensure a consistent engineering vision rooted in mechanical expertise, craftsmanship and full in-house manufacturing.

Continuity & Evolution is not a slogan. It is the reason our machines behave predictably, retain accuracy and remain productive for decades.

Lazzati PHILOSOPHY

Values That Shape Our Engineering

LAZZATI’s philosophy is built on concrete principles:

Z

Long-term reliability

not short product cycles

Z

Lifetime accuracy

supported by hydrostatics and precise craftsmanship

Z

Predictable behaviour

essential for heavy-duty and continuous operations
Z

Customer productivity

always at the centre

Z

Made in Italy engineering

executed entirely in-house

Z

These values define how we design

assemble and validate every machine.

Why Hydrostatics Is a Rational Choice

LHS — LAZZATI Hydrostatic System — is the core of our technical identity.
A 15–20 μm preloaded oil film fully separates the sliding surfaces, eliminating friction and mechanical wear. This delivers higher rigidity, reduced vibration and stable geometry even under demanding loads. Hydrostatics is a long-term engineering choice that directly supports our mission of reliability and continuity.

In-House Manufacturing, From Structure to Detail

In-House Manufacturing, From Structure to Detail

Cast iron structures, precision scraping (16+ points per square inch), headstock assembly and geometric calibration are all performed under our supervision.
This guarantees uniform quality, serviceability and complete availability of commercial components — a foundation of reliability for customers operating 24/7.

Craftsmanship Enhanced by Mechatronic Intelligence

Traditional skills such as hand scraping coexist with advanced mechatronic systems — LHI 5.0, LIA 1.0, DCS, TCS and LAS.
These technologies stabilize temperature, compensate deformation, monitor loads in real time and sustain accuracy across long production cycles. The result is a machine that performs consistently today, tomorrow and for many years.

Lazzati Bluetech4.0

Built for Long-Term Reliability

Stable accuracy, minimal wear, optimized energy usage and predictable maintenance.
This results in high availability, consistent machining quality, efficient workflows and extended lifetime.
Reliability becomes part of the customer’s production capability.

LAZZATI Philosophy

We BOOST Your Profits

LAZZATI’s mission becomes value on the shop floor: reliable uptime, stable cycles, reduced downtime, long component life and lower total operating costs.

Market research shows that reliability, advanced technology and comprehensive support are the three decisive factors in machine tool purchases. LAZZATI leads on all three

Choosing LAZZATI means choosing continuity, stability and long-term productivity.

Engineered to Last. Built to Perform

A century of engineering and four generations of evolution define every machine we build — precise, durable and designed to support customer profitability.

LAZZATI S.p.A., founded in 1939 in Italy, is a global reference in hydrostatic boring and milling machines. Our mission is to deliver long-term accuracy, structural rigidity and operational continuity through fully in-house design and manufacturing. Rooted in a century of engineering and four generations of family leadership, LAZZATI integrates hydrostatic excellence, precision craftsmanship and advanced mechatronics to create investment-grade machinery.
The LHS Hydrostatic System eliminates mechanical wear and stabilizes geometry, while digital platforms such as LHI 5.0, LIA 1.0, DCS, TCS and LAS monitor and compensate machine behaviour in real time. These characteristics support demanding sectors — aerospace, energy, oil & gas, precision machining and heavy industry — where reliability and predictable performance are essential. With a long-term focus on availability, stability and lower total operating costs, LAZZATI machines represent the highest expression of Made in Italy industrial engineering. Aligned with our mission — We BOOST Your Profits — we deliver machines designed to remain accurate and productive over decades.
